For its second edition, Bastille Day London, the largest Bastille Day celebration outside France is all about ... “Paris à la folie!” Fun for all the family with guinguette and cabaret stage, French market, DJs, bars & stalls.
10.30am - French Touch. Breakfast à la française :
Tea or coffee, chocolat chaud, crepes & croissants. On large gingham tablecloths, Bastille Day can begin...
11am - Petanque tournament with La Cagole beer, from les calanques of Marseille!
Register and learn how to play & Enjoy the French apero! Celebrities & French Chef open the tournament: French gourmet Ambassador Raymond Blanc 2 Michelin stars. A full day of entertainment for all your family: Kids’ area Mini Club Bastille: with face-painting, games, lots of fascinating and funny things to do! It’s also time for the French market to open: a giant tartiflette, oysters & wine, the greatest champaigns, a cheese & wine area, a bar à vins... for a 100m long picnic!
12am - The guinguette opens:
A free Bal populaire, musette, the troquet spirit seizes Battersea Park, with flonflons. As on the bankside of the river Marne, enjoy the feast on large gingham tablecloths: canotiers and marinières are out!
